*Note: according to a few places our claim of realm first here might not be completely valid so please take the above graphic with a pinch of salt folks I based it upon which guild posted first on the realm forums. According to WoW progress we downed DBS at the same hour and minute that Alter Ego downed the boss. Not sure how accurate this is, but great job to both guilds! Lots of fun all around. *highfive*

Edit: we have received a couple of complaints or “unsporting” comments regarding this post. Basically folks, it is true indeed that the normal mode fights thusfar are particularly easy. BOTE is under no false illusions about that, and we acknowledge that “realm first” shouts are arbitrary at this stage, but come on people it’s only a bit of fun. Don’t take it so seriously. BOTE has made considerable progress since our last web update. We have beaten the following hardmodes: Flame Leviathan, XT, Iron Council, Thorim, Hodir & General Vezax. We have also recently added Yogg+3 and Freya+2 to our kill list. Slowly but surely we are making our merry way towards Algalon the observer in 25man! With Knockx3, Firefighter and Yogg1 to go, we are also getting close to completing heroic Glory of the Ulduar Raider.

In other news, we are pleased to welcome aboard many new members in to the guild, and are also facerolling our way over the new Colliseum bosses. So far, all downed either oneshotted or twoshotted. I should imagine the hardmodes will provide much more of a challenge when they arrive in 2 weeks.

And so it came to pass that after realising the only way to get taken seriously as a raid guild these days is to send 10 people off to certain death against an impossible foe, Blood of the Elders decided to finally have a proper crack at Sartharion and his three Twilight Drakes (10man)! He parted company with his life without too much fuss, and we found ourselves in possesion of a rather nifty new Black Drake, which was promptly ninja’d by the guildmaster after beating his girlfriend to the roll. Yep, what a guy. Seeya soon.

Historical night yet again, also i’ve learned something, by not giving up so fast and just be able to get more attempts in we can easily get it down. Also for the people that weren’t here for the first kill you’ve earned it just as much!
