For raiding with Blood of the Elders you will be required to:

§ 1. Have a secure and stable internet connection.

§ 2. Understand the loot system we use (currently EPGP) and agree to the rules regarding it, explained in a separate topic.

§ 3. Download and install the following programs and addons: Ventrilo (stand-alone program, not a WoW addon), EPGP, Omen Threat Meter, and either Deadly Boss Mods or BigWigs.
   (2) All other addons are used at your own discretion, but we do expect you to use whatever is needed to maximize your raid performance.

§ 4. Always make sure your character is as good as he/she can be.
   (2) We expect you to always use the best gear enhancements available, including:
      (a) Gems.
      (b) Enchantments.
      (c) Armor kits or spellthreads for leggings.
      (d) Arcana for head pieces.
      (e) Inscriptions for shoulder pieces.
      (f) Any profession specific enhancements relevant to your class and spec.
   (3) This means you should:
      (a) Have your crafting profession(s) at a level where those enhancements become available
      (b) Have Revered reputation with the faction who has the appropriate arcanum for your head piece
      (c) Have Exalted reputation with the Sons of Hodir faction for the shoulder inscriptions (not necessary for Scribes if their skill is high enough).

§ 5. Be present and able to join two of our 25-man raids per week on avarage.
   (2) BotE raids on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays 19:30-23:00 (with invitations being sent out at 19:00).

§ 6. Be on time for raid invites (19:00) and outside the instance portal 15 minutes prior to first pull (19:15).
   (2) If you have to go afk before or while in a raid, you need to report this to the raid or healing leader, depending on your role in the raid.

§ 7. Always show up to the raid well prepared.
   (2) This means being fully repaired and bringing all necessary consumables, including:
      (a) Enough flasks and/or elixirs to last the entire raid.
      (b) Any potions needed for maximizing your performance
      (c) Buff food. Fish Feasts might be provided for your conveniance, but don't count on it.

§ 8. Stay in the raid until the raid leader has officially called the raid off.
   (2) If you cannot stay for the entire duration of a raid, you will need to put it in a note on the sign-up page, so the officers can take it into consideration when handing out invitations.
(3)If you cannot stay for the entire raid, other people who can will likely be prioritized.

§ 9. Be aware that if you sign up for a raid and don't make it into the initial raid setup, you are still expected to be on standby for the entire raid. We might need replacements along the way, either due to unexpected events like disconnects or because of fights needing a different raid setup.

§ 10. Read up on tactics for bosses that you are not familiar with. Explaining everything on the spot is very time consuming. Learning by doing is much better, and the higher pace we set in a raid, the more effective tries we can get in on a new boss.

§ 11. Be online on the guild's Ventrilo server when the raid starts. During raids you are required to listen to the raidleader and follow his/her instructions.
   (2) If you have something constructive to add to the matter at hand, you should do it between fights. During fights the Vent channel needs to be kept clear for important announcements and orders.

§ 12. Not argue with people over loot or EPGP issues during a raid.
   (2) If you feel that you have for some reason been unfairly treated, please talk to the officer in charge of looting and/or EPGP at the time of the incident after the raid.

§ 13. Agree to the following rules regarding the raid leadership:
   (a) The raid leader can swap out raiders with no EP loss in order to better progress a raid.
   (b) The raid leader can swap out raiders if their behaviour is not living up to the expectations and requirements mentioned above.
   (c) We try our best to rotate people in raids. However, due to the level of content that we currently raid, the raid leader reserves the right to set up the raid for maximum efficiency when needed.
   (d) Elders and Guardians, due to the tasks they have in raids and the guild in general, are not rotated for raid spots.
